Q-PlaNet is to 75% funded by EU means in the context of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP), ERASMUS, which is acting in the fields of international exchange and practical experiences for students.

Within the European Commission, the Directorate General for Education (DG EAC) has built up the LLP programme with its general objective to contribute to the development of the Community as an advanced knowledge society, with sustainable economic development, more and better jobs and greater social cohesion, while ensuring good protection of the environment for future generations. In particular, it aims to foster interchange, co-operation and mobility between education and training systems within the Community so that they become a world quality reference. LLP ERASMUS seeks to enhance the quality and reinforce the European dimension of higher education by encouraging transnational cooperation between universities, boosting European mobility and improving the transparency and full academic recognition of studies and qualifications throughout the Union.

On behalf of DG EAC, the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is managing the “practical” issues such as budgetary administration and assisting the project coordinators in the realisation of their projects. Each project has at least one contact person within EACEA, for content, administrative and financial assistance.
