EUE-Net / Mac-Team Association, Brussels, Belgium

The European University-Enterprise Network is an initiative to create an European cooperation network able to assemble and to coordinate the efforts towards a better collaboration between universities and enterprises at European level, to disseminate cooperation models and to promote best practices of collaboration in Europe, totally oriented to support the new European initiative "New skills for new jobs".

EUE-Net is leader of work package 1, 7, 8 and 9.


University of Brasov – Universitatea Transilvania din Brasov, Romania

Transylvania University of Brasov maintains a strong tradition of academic excellence that is respected worldwide. We have permanently tried to achieve excellency students having a wide range of interests find that Transilvania University of Brasov offers a wealth of programmes to meet their needs. Here they can study engineering, sciences, economic sciences, music, health sciences and law.

University of Bucharest – Universitatea din Bucuresti, Romania

The University of Bucharest is one of the leading institutions of higher education in Romania, and enjoys a considerable national and international prestige, acquired over almost 140 years. Its various schools are well known for their activities in all important scientific and academic domains. Its graduates have included many prominent personalities: teachers and researchers at important universities all over the world, members of the Romanian Academy and of similar institutions in other countries, writers, politicians (members of the Romanian parliament, ministers, prime ministers and presidents), diplomats, high-ranking ecclesiastical figures etc.

Tallinn University of Technology – Tallinna Tehnikaülikool, Estonia

Tallinn University of Technology is one of the largest universities in Estonia, providing interdisciplinary higher engineering education. It is also the main research centre of technical, social and economic sciences in Estonia. Engineers are prepared practically in all engineering fields and industrial economics needed in Estonia. Innovation and technology policy are an important constituent part of contemporary education in the above areas. TTU has about 50 bilateral cooperation agreements with foreign universities. With about 14 000 students (of which 10% are postgraduate students) and 1200employees (academic staff 780). TTU offers diploma, bachelor, master and doctorate programs. The academic part of the university is organised into 9 faculties, 30 departments, 3 centres of strategic competence. Seven institutions are affiliated to the university including colleges and R&D institutes.

Participation in the EU and other international and research projects in TEMPUS, INCO, PHARE, LEONARDO, ERASMUS, NORDPLUS and VISBY and The 7th Framework, has grown into multilateral joint agreements with universities in many European countries. Vocational training tasks carried out at the university are essential part of the overall development at every department. Each faculty, department or centre within Tallinn University of Technology maintains a number of international research contacts and is involved in international scientific/educational projects in their respective subject areas.

Leonardo Office Thuringia, Ilmenau, Germany

Leonardo Office Thuringia is working on behalf of the ministry for culture Thuringia, Germany, and the participating universities of Thuringia as regional consortium. It operates in the context of the European Lifelong Learning Programme  and allocates grants to students, graduates and staff for practical placements abroad in Europe.

Leonardo Office Thuringia is leader of work package 5.

JEUNE – Young Entrepreneurs of the European Union

JEUNE is the organization representing young craftsmen and young entrepreneurs of SMEs in the EU. Founded in February 1994, it is currently composed by 9 associations from 8 Member States, comprising approximately 300.000 entrepreneurs. These Associations are groups giving voice to the interests and the needs of young craftsmen and young entrepreneurs of SMEs at national or regional level. JEUNE is member of the European Association of Craft Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (UEAPME) and of the European Office of Crafts, Trades and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises for Standardization (NORMAPME).

JEUNE is leader of work package 7, in cooperation with AIESEC and EUE-Net.

As a member of Siemens IT Solutions and Services SDE Group - a research and development division within the Siemens Corporation, comprising over 6000 employees, working in 21 locations worldwide, operating in more than 9 countries - Siemens IT Solutions and Services SDE RO provides full services and solutions in the areas of information technology, telecommunications and company management. The pool of knowledge derives from a wide range of fields in which our corporation operates: information and communications, automation, energy, transportation and health care. Since 2001, Siemens IT Solutions and Services SDE RO has contributed to the global activities of the research and development division, providing technical know-how for the development of corporative products, and has successfully integrated into the division's knowledge network.

The division has been in existence for more than 40 years, formerly named Siemens Program and System Engineering, during which time it has acquired a wealth of experience.

Siemens IT Solutions and Services is leader of work package 9.

AIESEC (Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) Brasov, Romania

Present in over 800 universities in over 106 countries and territories, AIESEC is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact in society. AIESEC in Romania is currently present in 13 universities in the most important cities around the country, AIESEC is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact in society. The association is part of the project especially to represent the students point of view and interests concerning practical placements.

AIESEC Romania is leader of work package 7, in cooperation with JEUNE and EUE-Net.
